PacDyn is a program designed for the analysis and control of small-signal stability of large power systems. PacDyn employs state-of-the-art algorithms for the calculation of poorly-damped eigenvalues, dominant poles and transfer function zeros, transfer function residues, linear time response and frequency response plots, generator synchronizing and damping torques.
